Bent Ear rhythmic music collage and sound design for the You Want Halfords campaign TVC.
Bent Ear have just completed the sound design / music collage for the new Halfords campaign 30" TV commercial.
We were tasked with creating a rhythmic track made out of automotive-related noises and samples that danced around the rhyming vocal, giving the ad momentum and playfulness.
We recorded car repair, engine, machine and garage sounds and back at the studio, timed their hit points around the live takes of the voice to make sure everything worked as a cohesive rhythm.
