Sound design - Morrowsound & Bent Ear
The VIX immersive experience is a 24 person ride taking passengers on a sensory experience of an underwater voyage. Much of the dramatic content is enhanced by the audio. It includes submarine motors, attacking sea beasts, thronging schools of fish and the imminent danger of sinking.
Bent Ear contributed to specific aspects of the sound, notably the submarine, the danger from outside the hull, the pressure of deep water, and many other subtle effects. Once again we had the pleasure of working (long distance this time) with Charlie Morrow of 3D Morrowsound USA.
The ride is based at Praia de Costa, a shopping centre in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
