A commissioned piece of music used for the Zwiftcast Podcast. The piece was used for the theme and incidental sections. Zwift is a global indoor cycling community and a turbo trainer game with a strong social media connection.
The brief was to create something up-to-date and pacy, with a nod towards Kraftwerk and musique concrete. Together with Simon, we recorded many sounds created by bicycles and the indoor trainers along with the sound assets used in the game. These sounds were put together to create a collage with a sense of gears meshing together in a rhythmic, machine-like way.
